  2. Yes Mumbles, that is correct!

Here's what we don't know. What kind of shows do they have at Minack Theater? Could you tell us a bit about it?

  3. Yes they do all kinds of shows, mostly classic theatre and Opera. It is the most amazing location and I think it has a very interesting story. I am sure it was constructed by one lady or the lady and her husband built it together before he died.

In any case there is nothing better on a warm summers evening, with still waters and a clear night sky to watch a performance here. Take a blanket, a picnic and a good bottle of wine. Now I am really home sick!!!

  4. Mumbles, thanks so much for sharing!

How wonderful it must be to call this place home. A picnic with a bottle of wine sounds like perfection, especially with these breathtaking views! And the theatre itself, what a story indeed - fascinating.

For those of you who haven't yet had the chance to experience this gorgeous outdoor theatre set high on the golden cliffs of Cornwall, plan it in for your next trip! We have :)

    Here's the website.

You can learn about the history- the very interesting story Mumbles mentions, and what's on at Minack (Cornish for 'rocky') Theatre now.
